The Maintenance season runs from April to October. Recruitment for Summer 2009 will start in December, with interviews commencing in January 2009.
If you have a true passion for the outdoors and golf, this is the department for you! Join the grounds crew working ?Where nature plays through?. On the sunny side of Canmore, develop a career in Turf Care offering a variety of different duties, no two days will be the same.
Duties:
? Operate all types of mowing equipment maintaining greens, aprons, tees, collars, fairways, rough, around trees, fence lines, banks and hillsides; edges cart paths, rakes, edges and maintains sand bunkers.
? Golf course set up on tees and greens according to daily rotation; removes debris and weeds; divots the golf course and repairs ball marks.
? Waters and fertilizes tees, greens, fairways, and rough.
? Irrigation maintenance.
? Golf course construction and landscaping projects.
? Ensure quality and attention to detail exists in all work performed (accurate, thorough and timely)
? Demonstrate a positive, friendly and outgoing attitude at all times.
? Demonstrate professionalism at all times.
? Exhibit a willingness to learn new tasks.
? Exhibit teamwork and the ability to work with others to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Experience/Background Preferred:
? No specific education requirements required.
