Kananaskis Village is set amongst some of the most awesome scenery in the world. Surrounded by the Canadian Rocky Mountains, the village is just one hour South West of Calgary and 45 minutes East of Banff. The Lodge was originally built for the 1988 Winter Olympics, and just hosted our world leaders at the 2002 G8 Summit. Two buildings, The Lodge and the Signature Club provide 321 luxurious rooms, 6 extensive dining outlets, including Seasons (awarded 4 diamond status), complete meeting space, conventions and recreation facilities. In July 2000, we were thrilled to unveil the new Summit Spa & Fitness Center which offers utmost relaxation and rejuvenation for guests and employees and state of the art exercise equipment. As well, Delta Hotels has been recognized by the Globe and Mail as one of the top 50 companies to work for in Canada for two years in a row!

The Delta Lodge at Kananaskis lies in an unspoiled mountain environment - the Valley of Adventure - which encompasses 4000 square kilometers of possibilities! The Valley is home to Fortress Mountain, which was awarded Canada's "best kept secret" for powder skiing by Ski Canada Magazine. Nakiska Mountain was the site of the 1988 Olympic Alpine events. Kananaskis Country Golf Course is a 36-hole world class golf course. The Kananaskis River offers whitewater rafting, canoeing and kayaking. The park offers 250 km of official hiking, mountain biking and cross-country ski trails. The Valley is also home to unsurpassed backcountry adventures - your opportunities are endless! WORKPLACE
A comprehensive training and orientation program is provided for all new employees. We offer a competitive benefits plan including Alberta Health Care, extended medical, vision, dental, life insurance and short-term disability. We also offer an employee travel program which enables our employees to stay at other Delta or Fairmont Hotels.
ACCOMMODATION
Our staff residence is shared accommodation. It's a 5-minute walk to the Lodge and one step from the Ultimate Outdoor Playground! Each room has a kitchenette, full-size bathroom, and furnishings. We also offer a common room with Internet access, pool table and TV. Our staff store is located in residence, offering a wide variety of items at a competitive price. Both residence buildings have coin operated laundry facilities.
Our Employee Experience Team, located in staff residence, is dedicated to helping the staff "Live the Adventure" outside of work. Our monthly activity calendar provides employees with a choice of daily guided activities including everything from relaxing hikes to skydiving and white water rafting!
The Delta Lodge at Kananaskis recruits for full-time and seasonal positions year round - a six-month minimum contract is required.
